Accessibility Statement

At the St. David’s Hotels, we are proud of the historic charm and character of our Grade II listed building. However, we recognise that the nature of our property may pose accessibility challenges for some guests. While we strive to accommodate the needs of all our visitors, including those with mobility, hearing or visual impairments, we want to be transparent about the limitations of our building and the support we can offer.

Building Limitations

Due to the protected status of our historic building, certain accessibility modifications are not possible. Please be aware of the following features:

• Steep Entrance Steps: The main entrance has steep steps and we regret that there is no ramp or step-free access available.

• Narrow Doorways and Corridors: Some of our doorways and corridors are narrow, which may make access difficult for wheelchair users.

• No Elevator and Narrow Staircases: The building does not have an elevator and all upper floors and lower ground floors are only accessible by narrow staircases.

Ground-Floor Accommodation

For guests with accessibility needs or with hearing or visual impairments, with prior notice and subject to availability, we can allocate rooms on the ground floor which eliminates the need to use stairs within the building and which gives closer access to Reception and the hotel entrance and fire exits. Reception staff will always assist our guests with navigating the property. However, please note that the entrance to the hotel still requires navigating steep steps (no step-free or ramp access).

We understand that our building's layout may not be ideal for everyone, but we are dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. Our team is available to assist with:

• Luggage Handling: Assistance with luggage to and from your room provided no item is heavier than 20kg. This is for the safety of our employees.

• Personalised Services: If you have any specific needs, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
